Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
AA Septic Service ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of our services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, service address, and any details you include when you contact us or request service.
- Automatically, as you browse: standard web server and security logs kept by our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We also read the approximate region your IP address is in for one purpose: deciding whether to show you the cookie consent banner described below.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide our services.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as long as the law requires.
Cookies and Tracking
Calls, forms and ad tracking. We advertise online, and we want to know
which ads and searches actually bring in a phone call or a service request. So when you
visit, this site sets two first-party cookies: ct_sid (30 days), which
records your visit here, and ct_click (90 days), which records the ad click
that brought you, such as a Google Ads click identifier or campaign tags in the page
address. While you browse, the phone number on the page may show as one of our tracking
numbers. It rings straight through to our office line, the same as dialing us directly.
When you call that number, we log your phone number, the time and length of the call, and
how you found the site. Calls to our tracking numbers may be recorded and transcribed so
we can follow up on your request, and you will hear a short notice before the call
connects. When you send the contact form, the same visit record goes along with your
request. We may report a call or request back to the ad platform that showed you the ad,
so it can measure the campaign. Groundbreaker Marketing, the agency that builds and
maintains this website, runs this tracking for us. It does not follow you to other
websites.
This website runs no analytics service and no advertising pixels. Beyond the two tracking cookies above, it sets only strictly necessary cookies, such as remembering your choice if you use the cookie banner. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you.
If we later add analytics or advertising technology, it will be blocked until you opt in for visitors in California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, Illinois, and Michigan, through a consent banner. At that point a "Cookie preferences" link appears in the footer of every page, so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Until then there is nothing to consent to, so we do not show you a banner.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business: our website host, the email delivery service that carries contact form submissions to our inbox, and the phone and text messaging providers we use to reach you. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know or access the personal information we have collected about you, to have it deleted, to have inaccurate information corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so we do not respond to it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: where your browser sends one, we treat it as an instruction to keep non-essential cookies and trackers off for that browser.
Your Choices
- Whenever the cookie banner is in use, the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer changes what you allow.
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling (317) 539-7304 or using our contact form. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children's Privacy
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No transmission over the internet or a mobile network can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
