Lift Station and Treatment Plant Bypass Pumping

Keeping the sewer flowing while repairs are made

How Bypass Pumping Works

When a lift station or wastewater treatment plant has to come offline for service, or an emergency takes it down, the flow coming into it does not stop. Without a bypass, a centralized sewer system can back up into hundreds or thousands of homes.

AA Septic Service provides bypass pumping for lift stations and treatment plants. With a large fleet of tanker trucks, we can handle the largest, most demanding jobs and keep a town’s sewer flowing while repairs are made.

Our tanker trucks pump the incoming wastewater out of the lift station or plant and haul it away, so the sewer system keeps moving while the equipment is offline.

Who Needs Bypass Pumping

Towns and cities, utilities, treatment plant operators, and the contractors who repair their equipment. Any time a lift station or plant has to be taken offline, the flow coming into it needs somewhere to go.

Planned Work and Emergencies

For planned repairs, we work out the volumes and the schedule with you ahead of time and keep trucks moving for as long as the work runs. When an emergency arises, call (317) 539-7304 and we will talk through what is needed and how soon we can have trucks there.
